Creative businesses are too important to feel like they're held together by duct tape and a dream.
We're building and.software as a suite of modular business tools streamlined for the needs of small creative teams. While running our own studio, we were dissatisfied with how software these days feels like it's made for gigantic teams with endless amounts of complexity and bloat. We were tired of feeling like we had to learn to juggle 10 different apps just to run a small studio.
Talking with friends at other studios and art practices, we started to realize this wasn't unique to us. Whether you're an independent practitioner or part of a studio, lab, startup, or cultural institution, there's a shared difficulty in finding software that feels attuned to creative work. Tools that get out of the way as quickly as possible, so you can focus on doing the real work.
A different approach to building.
We're kicking off a community initiative to build and.software with and for the diverse community of creative business owners. Rather than sell a finished product, we want to invite you in so we can help directly solve the issues you're facing.
We're starting off with a project management tool that ties directly into your time and billing. From there, our roadmap will be shaped by the community -- but we're exploring tools for contacts, automated proposals and invoicing, file delivery, client portals, and more.
